We took part in the ‘Play with Me’ festival

On Tuesday 27 May 2025, we all played at the Play with Me festival. At our stand in Kongresni Trg, we took the participants on a trip and had a lot of fun playing the School Trip game. We also exercised our memories and learnt about periods in our school’s history with the help of our museum colouring book.

The festival day attracted people of all ages, those with disabilities and those without. There were a number of free creative and sporting workshops, as well as theatre, dance and singing performances on stage. The event was organised by the Association of Inclusive Culture and the Special Education Centre Janez Levec Ljubljana.

The Slovenian School Museum presents Slovenian school heritage in an innovative, playful and relevant way for the target audience. Through organising activities and participating in festivals, we aim to expand visitors’ knowledge and inform them about the history of education. We place special emphasis on the experiences and emotional perception of content from the school’s past.
