Participating in the project Forward into the past

The Slovenian School Museum will again participate in the project Forward into the past, which will take place from 7 to 13 April 2025. The project is designed as an online campaign to raise public awareness of the rich tangible and intangible cultural heritage through posts on our social networks.

This year’s campaign will focus on how museums see their future, how we preserve the past and how we connect with our audiences in a fun way. The campaign will use the hashtags #naprejvpreteklost (forwardintothepast), #muzejinprihodnost (museumsandthefuture) and #muzejinzabava (museumsandfun).

We invite you to follow our posts – in an online campaign we will show how we bring the school’s past to the attention of our visitors in a fun and educational way. We will demonstrate the use of augmented reality to help visitors enjoy the permanent exhibition School Rules! The demonstration will include the use of the two applications, ScholAR and PosterAR, and their informative role in the museum.

The Forward into the Past online promotional campaign is co-organised by the Slovenian Museum Association and the Service for Movable Heritage and Museums at the National Museum of Slovenia.
