In the Garden of Experiments, we wrote with invisible ink

We took part in the most curious festival of all: SCIENCETIVAL. On Friday 30 and Saturday 31 May 2025, we presented writing instruments that were once used at school at the Garden of Experiments on Stritarjeva Ulica in Ljubljana.

Visitors could try their hand at writing with a stylus on a wax tablet and with chalk on a writing slate. For those who were particularly curious, we had a special task prepared: they could write secret messages with a wooden pen and invisible ink.

This event, organised by the House of Experiments, brought together a wide range of institutions involved in promoting science and education. There was an interesting and varied programme of workshops and lectures for children, adults, and national and international guests.

By participating in such events, the Slovenian School Museum strives to become as accessible, friendly and open a museum as possible.
