Classroom in the Cloud

Invitation to the 2nd Expert Meeting to mark the completion of the new permanent exhibition School Rules!

entitled

Classroom in the Cloud
26 November 2024 at 10 am
Slovenian School Museum, Plečnikov trg 1, Ljubljana

The classroom comes to life in its full potential when users are guided and stimulated in the learning process by various stimuli. The second meeting will present examples of good practice from selected teachers and other professionals who are already using new working methods and innovative approaches with pupils, and who are introducing different ways of working into existing school programmes. The event will be based on the following content guidelines:

  1. There is very little change in the content of the curriculum, so teachers can only change the approach, for which they need a suitable space – examples of good practice.
  2. Encouraging the integration of the school with the local environment (finding an identity in the local and national environment), integration with local institutions and nature.
  3. Classroom in nature – how to make nature part of the learning process inside and outside the classroom; how to educate for care and protection of nature and support sustainability.
  4. The well-being of learners and teachers as a prerequisite for developing genuine relationships in the classroom, which is also the basis for effective cooperation with parents.
  5. Fostering creativity in pupils – the classroom as a demonstration centre for life preparation.
  6. Developing digital competences for research purposes and computer support equipment for medical purposes.
